Opened to the public just two weeks ago, the Durham History Hub brings the past alive with stories about the Bull City. This interactive exhibit space chronicles the monumental events, people, and places that have helped to make Durham the unique and wonderful city it is today. Located in the heart of downtown, just a quick drive from our Durham, NC bed and breakfast, the museum is situated right in the midst of much of the history that it has helped preserve. Its central location also provides you with the opportunity to head downtown to enjoy some of the restaurants that are helping to
create a delicious legacy for Durham, the Tastiest Town in the South.
If you’re a history buff you won’t want to miss the other museums in the area. Call your innkeeper and book a night or two at our Durham bed and breakfast and ask for their advice on the best places to whet your appetite for history. There’s the NC Museum of Life and Science, perfect if you’re entertaining young ones. Or, if you’re looking to learn more about all things North Carolina head over to Raleigh for the NC Museum of History. The Triangle has no shortage of art museums too, if that is more your style. Durham’s own Nasher Museum of Art located at Duke University, provides a variety of permanent collections and exhibits.
