Enjoy downtown Durham this weekend at the annual Durham Art Walk Spring Market, a weekend event showcasing Durham businesses along with the latest creative endeavors of over 200 local artists.
Sponsored by the Durham Arts Council, the event attracts thousands of people for two full days of art, music, performances, food. Visitors can purchase art from every genre and medium and enjoy great food and visual art.
Event times are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, April 9th, and 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday, April 10th. For more information on the event, click here.
The Durham Arts Council is a private nonprofit dedicated to supporting the arts in Durham and the entire Triangle Region in North Carolina and has served the community since 1954. Each year DAC serves over 300,000 visitors and program participants, over 600 artists and more than 60 arts organizations through classes, artist residencies, exhibits, festivals, grants programs, technical support, arts advocacy and information services.
