It’s finally time! Time for the bats to swings, for hot dogs, peanuts, and cracker jacks, for Wool E. Bull to fire up his go-cart, that’s right it’s baseball season! The Durham Bulls are off to a great start for the season with two victories at home, and everyone is fired up to see great baseball for the next few months.
If you haven’t experienced a spring or summer evening at the Durham Bulls Athletic Park, don’t let this year’s baseball season go by without at least one visit! Even those who may not be the biggest baseball fans will enjoy the stadium’s beautiful surroundings, the American Tobacco Historic District
. And kids will enjoy games with the team’s mascot Wool E. Bull and all of his shenanigans (yes, he really does ride a go-cart!) Fans of Bull Durham, the “greatest sports movie of all time” according to ESPN, will love seeing the Bulls in action and may appreciate a trip downtown to the historic stadium
where parts of the film were shot.
Ask your innkeeper for reservations at one of the many great restaurants within walking distance of the ballpark so can enjoy dinner and then root, root, root for the home team!
