The Arrowhead Inn is offering a two night getaway to four couples who are literally dealing with broken and mended hearts. Why? Because when innkeeper/owner, Gloria Teber, dealt with serious heart surgery in September to repair her “broken heart valve”, she learned that the best medicine can be time away to relax with your loved one. The stress & anxiety before and after Gloria’s heart surgery has caused her and husband, Phil, to reflect and reach out to the many couples who are facing similar circumstances. We wanted to hear from mended heart survivors and support each other through these trials of the heart.
We are offering these getaways to recovering mended heart couples to recharge their spirits, soothe their souls, and bring joy to their hearts. Our motto here at the Arrowhead Inn is to “experience the magic and soar like an arrow”. A free getaway at the Arrowhead Inn is the perfect remedy.
If you or your spouse is recovering from mended heart surgery within the past year and need time away to refresh your lives and rejuvenate your relationship, we want to hear your story. Each month from February through May 2010, the Arrowhead Inn will award one couple with a special two night getaway, including luxurious accommodations with all the amenities, candlelight dinner, and a heart keepsake for remembrance. The four winners of the Mended Heart Getaway Giveaways will be announced in February - American Heart Month.
The Mended Heart Getaway will include:
- Two nights lodging (Sunday-Thursday, non-holiday) for two people in one room/suite based on a space available basis.
- Gourmet breakfast served each morning
- Romantic “Heart-Healthy” Dinner at the Inn for two on one evening.
- Complimentary afternoon refreshments with appetizers.
- Turndown service offered nightly.
- All gratuities, taxes and service charges.
- Heart keepsake to take home.
(Transportation charges to and from the Inn are additional)
At least one Mended Heart Getaway will be arranged monthly from February, until May, 2010. Letters from interested participants (25 years or older) must be received no later than February 28, 2010. One letter per person is allowed. Duplicate entries will eliminate the interested parties from consideration. Mended Heart Getaway recipients will be notified by phone or e-mail. Mended Heart Giveaways are non-transferable and may not be combined with any other offers or promotions. The Mended Heart Giveaways will be scheduled no later than May 31, 2010, and are subject to availability and blackout dates may apply.
